br600 stihl backpack blower in Saanichton, British Columbia for sale

The engine needs work. It might be salvageable if you're decent with small engines. Was working A+ until two days ago when it died on me.
Symptoms:
Lost power very slowly over five minutes until it almost wasn't blowing at all. Engine was still working but had no power. Eventually I turned it off and checked the plug and filter (which both need replacing). There was some black smoke so I'm guessing the piston did some or took on some damage. Engine turns fine without the plug in it and a little rough with plug in. everything else on it is good so would be a perfect parts replacement.
I would keep it for parts but I don't have the space. It was used lightly commercially for 4 years.
