Need a project bike for the long winter months? This could be just the thing. I bought this to work on as a father-son project, but now I am out of road riding, we both have dirt bikes and I need the room!
Honda's first ever V-twin. Water cooled. Twin Carbs. Shaft drive. 4.9gal tank and 50mpg.
First two pics are of the bike. Third is how they looked new. Remainder are some inspiration photos I collected.
Currently in boxes with a rolling chassis. It was running when I bought it two years ago, but currently there seems to be a ground fault, so it is not turning over. Otherwise in decent condition.
comes with some extra bits (carbs, replacement signal lights, Haynes manual). The front brakes have been upgraded with twin disks over the original single disk. I believe it came from a GL500, but don't quote me on that. Only thing missing is the headlight cowl, which gave it the unenviable nickname of the "plastic maggot".
I have a new handlebar to replace the risers currently on it, and there is also a brand new battery. Have the paperwork.
