Reluctantly selling our 2005 Subaru Forester (in the most beautiful colour- champagne gold, baby!). We purchased it from Victoria Premium Automobiles in 2014 (it belonged to the owner) and have done lots of work and maintenance since then.
This AWD super-SUV (aka Subaru Forester) has an upgraded JVC stereo unit with Bluetooth and hands-free mic installed, heated seats, huge moon roof, trailer hitch, power everything, climate control, rubber winter mats, roof rack, and more.
Summary of work done (excluding routine engine maintenance, last oil change April 2019):
April 2019: Rear wheel bearings, new windshield and moon roof (got hit by a rock!)
Nov 2018: Rear brakes (pads, rotors, calipers)
Mar 2017: New all-season tires (lots of life left!)
Feb 2016: Catalytic converter (for the environment!)
June 2014: Front brakes (pads, rotors, calipers)
We recently had a catastrophic engine issue and had to replace it with a used engine - the engine was sourced, inspected and installed by an experienced Victoria mechanic that knows Subarus really well and it was confirmed that it has 170,000 km on it, WITH a new timing belt, and new head gaskets replaced. The car itself (odometer) has 242,000 km on it, but with a younger engine and many other parts replaced, this vehicle is NOT like other Foresters out there with 240,000+ km - we guarantee! We are happy to give you our mechanic's contact information for you to get the vehicle's history straight from him - he's done most of the work on it since we bought it in 2014. We have all receipts since we purchased it, plus a CarFax report you can have from our original purchase that shows no liens or accidents. We made one recent ICBC claim to replace the glass. The car has a few dings and scratches (nothing major) as shown in the photos.
