1977 28' Zeta Command Bridge Cruiser in Saanichton, British Columbia for sale

SOLSKEN is a 28 x 10.5-foot, modified deep-vee command-bridge cruiser. The vessel has a spacious command bridge and cockpit with interior sleeping accommodation for 6 in a V-Berth forward coupled with a fold-down settee and drop-down dining table in the saloon.
Equipment onboard consists of a 4-burner propane stove with oven, stainless steel fridge/freezer, 18-gallon fresh water tank with pressurized pump, water heater (stbd engine coolant/120VAC), bus heater (port engine coolant), marine head with holding tank and macerator pump, remote/local control electric rope/chain anchor windlass with 250' rode, self-deploying 10 kg Delta Fastset anchor, seawater wash-down pump, three automatic/manual bilge pumps, remote controlled spotlight, 4 golf-cart house batteries and two starting batteries with cross-connections, 2 compasses, a Raymarine A70 chart-plotter/depth sounder, AM-FM radio with accessory CD changer, CB radio with loud-hailer and 2 VHF radios. Additional equipment onboard includes 2 electric downriggers, a propane barbeque, an Electrosan sewage disposal system and a Volvo Ardic diesel-fired hot air heater (partially installed).
The boat has two station hydraulic steering and trim tabs and had been re-powered in 1988 with twin Volvo AQ 225D (305 GM) engines and 290 Duoprop out-drives. Starboard engine underwent a professional long-block rebuild approximately 30 engine hours ago. In preparation for selling, both out-drives were inspected and pressure/vacuum tested by Philbrooks and the starboard Primary Drive Shaft (gimbal) bearings were renewed. Two exhaust risers and manifolds were also replaced. Annual maintenance (bottom painting and replacement of anodes) and bi-annual maintenance (replacement of exhaust and driveshaft bellows and oil change in legs) were recently completed.
Replacement cost was assessed as $120,000 in the most recent insurance survey of 06 Dec 2015 and the vessel is currently ensured for $28,000. A copy of the survey is available on request.
